"While I may have been a Bridechilla, there was one thing I was SUPER particular about and that was the music. Needless to say, we were not disappointed in the slightest and he worked to understand all of our music tastes.
Dan (Faithful Anchor) made a long journey from Chicago to the Quad Cities to DJ our wedding and we couldn't have been any happier with the music. He absolutely crushed it! Our dance floor was still packed at 11PM! From Modest Mouse to Wang Chung to Etta James to The Wobble, he played a great assortment of music that got kids of all ages moving!
One of my favorite memories from our wedding day will be singing along to Andrew WK with my mom in her wheelchair and our doppelgänger officiant head banging. We certainly did Party Hard, but we couldn't have done it without Faithful Anchor bringing the best music to our party!

"DJ Dan Maloney of Faithful Anchor was the most epic and awesome wedding DJ we could have imagined. Dan was a true pleasure to work with, bringing the perfect balance of professionalism and fun to the experience. My husband and I both love music, but we were kind of worried that the music that we love most would not be the best to pump up the crowd at our wedding. Dan did an amazing job and created the perfect playlist that had me saying aloud multiple times, "I love this song!"
Dan did the music for both our ceremony and reception and it was flawless. We shared a playlist with him of about 20 songs that we both loved and from that he curated an entire day of music that perfectly reflected my husband's and my taste.
Dan was an excellent emcee. From our grand entrance, to our first dance, to getting the dance floor going, Dan was fun, energetic and did a great job working with our coordinator to ensure we stayed on schedule. Also, as avid vinyl collectors, we absolutely loved Dan's set up! "Dan did a great job DJing our wedding! He spent plenty of time meeting with my husband and me to understand our music tastes beforehand, and he killed it on the day-of with the processional which included a hard-to-find version of a song.
Overall, it was awesome to find Dan - his relaxed but he's-got-it-handled attitude was so great for our wedding, and on the day of he did an excellent job and we heard lots of our favorite songs. "Dan was the DJ at my wedding and I couldn't have imagined anyone making the night more memorable. I provided a short inspiration list for the dinner and dance segment and he nailed it. The fact that everyone was on the dance floor from the moment the dance segment started until the last dance pays tribute to his talent. We were so impressed not only with his professionalism and the fact that he spins all over the city in some of the best venues, but he even provided the lighting effects we requested. "As good as it gets" might seem like an over-the-top thing to say about a DJ, but we really could not imagine anyone doing a better job than Dan (Faithful Anchor) did for our wedding (in Chicago). He invested all the time and energy we could have asked for and he was intuitive when he needed to be. He provided the valuable service of guiding the flow and pacing of the night -- even beyond his DJing tasks -- and was completely professional and attentive every step of the way. But most of all, Dan is an artist, and when it came time to dive in and make people dance, he absolutely did so.
